For sale is the 1992 Riva Aquarama Special 768, the first and only Aquarama sold by the prestigious Riva shipyards with diesel engines, captivating with its timeless elegance and fascinating history.

This extraordinary boat was originally equipped in 1992 with two powerful Hydroforce 380 V Diesel engines, which have now been replaced with the original 454 Riva Thermo Electron 350 HP engines. This unique feature came about because the boat was purchased to be used as a tender within a large yacht. While all other Aquaramas produced by Riva were traditionally fitted with petrol engines—the classic 350 Riva Thermo Electron (with 454 blocks at the time)—this model stands out as the only one with diesel engines. The original diesel engines are available and sold together with the boat, allowing the owner to decide which to install.

Impeccably restored in 2018 by renowned master craftsman Giacomo Lazzari, with structural parts renewed, this aquatic beauty has been carefully stored and protected in our warehouse, only enjoying brief, precious moments of navigation in the freshwater of Lake Garda, with very few engine hours logged. Currently, some restoration work is being carried out to bring the boat back to its former glory. Our company’s policy is to deliver boats in perfect condition. Before delivery, a water test will be conducted with the new owner for a practical demonstration of the boat’s use.

The fine woods are in impeccable condition; the hull was completely redone in 2018, and the sides as well as the deck were expertly stripped down and refinished with 28 layers of varnish (reinforced by an additional 8 layers in 2024), ensuring a splendid appearance and long-lasting durability.

With stylistic details reminiscent of the last Aquaramas produced, such as the squared cleats, leather Momo steering wheel, and instrument dials with anti-glare gray gauges, this boat embodies the very essence of Italian luxury and style.

The original turquoise color adds a touch of class, but the upholstery and waterline can be customized to reflect personal taste, and the boat’s name can be chosen to make it truly personalized.
